All on-site activities are following CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of the COVID-19

Each year more than 1,500 children in grades pre-k through college, and social clubs tour the museum.

Programs focus on a variety of topics including:

  • The history and art of the many of Asian cultures
  • Storytelling and Asian folktale¬†Hands-on activities such as origami, calligraphy, games, using chopsticks, and more.
  • The history of many of the artworks and items in the museum
  • Live weapons demonstrations

A field trip to the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures & Education Center is an excellent way for any group to learn more about Asia. Lessons are correlated to T.E.K.S and national standards.
