We are back open! The Museum is open to the public and observing social distancing guidelines.
Our artist spotlight display is open, and we will display a rotating group of artists or artworks every few weeks.
This area is used to display some of the Museum’s more unique and obscure elements, in addition to items that simply don’t have a permanent display yet. Some are from Billie Chandler’s original collections, and many others are much more recent donations.
These include our next 5 displays:
May 1 - June 7, Kites of Asia
June 8 - July 2, Tales from the Nihon Shoki
July 3 - August 1, The Civil War Collection By Shoji Ohzawa
August 2 - September 1, World Elephant Day
September 2 - September 28, Bollywood Nights
In addition, all the items on display here currently are part of rotation display setups, both past, and future.
Goldstein Wing renovations are done!
Come see our Hakata Hall, open now, running through the end of 2021 at least. Home to 517 of our Hakata dolls, part of one of the largest collections of Hakata Dolls in the world.
